  1. Yes, we are aware of the fact that Linux would allow the server to perform better. If you want to go down that path you can, this is just the option we went with because of simplicity especially if the pre-built you buy comes with a windows license already. 🙂

  2. I wanna build a server for 7 days dayz and other survival game to play with three or four friends what would I need for hardware? or how can I find what I need

  3. quadcore a minimum? if you have powerful CPU DUO CORE WILL DO IT BETTER(as less thermal usage). Really, you can just disable 2 cores and have better temps AND SAME PERFORMANCE.

  4. Make a series of how to videos on making your own server and portfowarding it with the asus routers so i got it to load but it says it theres not enough space or it cant make enough space how do i do that? any help pls message

  5. java.lang.NullPointerException: null

  6. Minecraft servers perform significantly better with lots of ram, an SSD, and NO LOTS OF CORES WONT HELP.
Just tons of misinformation. You obviously just tossed a crappy computer together and didn't do any research for what would benefit a minecraft server..

  7. i have 8gigs of ddr4 ram with 4 core 8 thread and if i try to allocate more than 1 gig i get this error: failed to reserve this amount of heap memory or something like that. btw the computer has nothing installed on it but java.

  8. hey toasty bros, so i just turned my old PC into an RLCraft server (modded minecraft) and it works perfect for me and my friends, but i was wondering if i should ever turn the PC off or shut it down, its an old PC still running windows 7 so im not sure if the hardware will be ruined if i just constantly keep it on, im just wondering what to do and what is proper server care
